Biopsy processing cassettes are similar to the slotted cassettes but have a 1 mm square mesh for small biopsies. Made from Acetyl Polymer, which is a special high density polymer that keeps specimens safely submerged in solution, these cassettes are totally resistant to most histological solvents and their slots offer maximum flow through for good fluid exchange and proper drainage.
The lids can be opened and closed as often as necessary and they always relock securely without danger of specimen loss. Large labeling areas are located on three sides of the cassette for your convenience.

Electron Microscopy Sciences BEEM Blocklock Flat Embedment, 20 Positions
Specimen blocks are safely stored in Blocklock storage modules, a component in the BEEM Specimen Storage System 2000. All Blocklocks can be inserted in a Plastic Protective Box or, by utilizing the adhesive feature, mounted in combination with other Blocklock modules on the BEEM mounting panel that fits in a standard " D-Type" 3-ring binder. Block snaps into cavities so it cannot be inadvertently dislodged. Number and letter identify each cavity. Measures 2-7⁄8"L x 2"W x 1/4"H (74 x 50 x 8mm)

Disposable plastic tissue cassettes are used for holding and identifying tissue samples in processing, embedding, and sectioning procedures. The cassettes fit securely in microtome chuck adapters. They are totally resistant to histological solvents. These cassettes are designed to accept standard metal lids and will also fit either the standard stainless steel base molds or the disposable plastic ones. Made from Acetal copolymer.
